The ppbRAE 3000 is one of the most advanced portable handheld VOC (Volatile Organic Compound) instruments on the market. Thanks to the high-resolution measuring range of the photoionization detector (PID) from 1 ppb (parts per billion) to 10,000 ppm (parts per million), this instrument is ideally suited for a wide variety of applications - from workplace monitoring, air quality monitoring, laboratory use, fire brigade operations to detecting leaks and monitoring hazardous goods. The integrated radio modem enables real-time data transmission to a base station up to 150 m from the ppbRAE 3000 (or 3 km with a separate RAELink3 modem). A standard PC or laptop can be used as a base station for a ppbRAE 3000 system.
